B Stock CARBURETORS??????? Empty B Stock CARBURETORS???????

The rules are not very clear on this AT ALL! I am looking to buy a carb for my car and I dont want to be call a cheater so maybe someone out there can make this call for me. the rules say this

A. Limited to one four barrel carburetor only.
B. No fuel injection, turbo, or blowers permitted.
C. Standard dual line Holley’s only.
D. Carburetors must have casting lines in venturi.
E. No Dominators, Predators, or Holley H.P. Pro-Series permitted.
F. No BG Silver Claw or Gold Claw permitted.
G. No polishing or port of carburetors permitted.
H. On standard type Holleys choke horn may be removed, but no lower than the breather gasket flange.

My Qustion is this;

Line C. states that standard dual line holley's ONLY

My Qustion is a holley carb the only type of carb I can run??? or is it stating that if I am going to run a holley that I can only use the holleys on line E. of the carb rules for b-stock???

I am not trying to cheat but I am just trying to find this infomation out. I am running out of money for my car so I can't buy a $520.00 carb that I cant run. So this is what I am looking at. Jegs or summit sales a carb that is based off of the holley 750. its called a Quick Fuel Carb. the only differance is that it has some upgrades so you can tune the vac 2nds on it with a screw instead if changing the ramp on the linkage. I will also tell you this carb looks like a high dollor carb but its about the same price as the other ones. this carb costs a little less than $520.00 bucks.

My Qustion is this carb ok to run without being called a cheater??? Please Tell me I need to order one and get it before next race...

Yes, the rules are confusing and a vague. I am in the same predicament of which carburetor to run. It’s hard to justify building or buying a nice motor when you can’t use a decent carb to run it. My suggestion is to show up to the next meeting and bring your questions before the race directors to see what everyone thinks and maybe get some clarification. Meetings are every Sunday at 7:00pm in old Kenai at the American Legion. It is also a good time to become a Racing Lions member if you're not already.

I work out of town and I am not allways in town. Is there a way that there can be a way that in some part of the meeting they can bring up some of the qustions ask on here. I think it would help for the people that can't allways make the weekly meetings and I think it would help get things on this froum kick off better.

As AkChoppers said, the best route to take would be to attend one of our meetings at the American Legion in Old Town Kenai. If you were to go to one you could show them what you want to order and they could tell you if it is a legal carb or not.

I ordered a Holley 4777 650cfm. Hopefully I can get it to work. Wasting too much time.

I beleive the carb you are looking to buy is legal. My interpitation of the rules is that you can not use the mentioned carbs. Dominater Etc.... Cam said it for me but i will keep your info if you cant make the meeting and ask for you? send me a pm with your specs. But i think youll be fine. I have seen a few carbs on the bstocks that were just simply huge!!!

I ended up just buying a cheapo holley. I was just in a hurry to get my car done for the 4th of july racwe so I went with a cheap one I found in soldotna
