Re: newbie racer
Find some sponsors and race clean and everyone will probably race you clean.
Also practice is very helpful, the track offers Track Rental for $300, but you must give them one weeks notice. The more practice laps you can turn will help get you to the front of the pack much sooner. Sometimes you can get other drivers to split up that $300, and itll make it alot more affordable for you. Like I said though, the board wants at least a weeks notice to prep the track, but I believe that it would be pretty easy to schedule a rental for a Sunday after a raceday, as the track will most likely be usable still.
Renting the track is actually worth it, when you consider making your first laps on raceday and getting ran over by the fast guys all night.

Re: newbie racer
They are trying to get a list of all the racers and their phone numbers so we can get in touch with other people to rent the track. Its not bad if you can get 4 or 5 people togather. Im usualy down for practice if im not working.
